U.S. equity indices gained 0.25% on average, focusing on U.S.-China talks in London on tariffs and trade, ignoring for now the escalating protests in California. Treasuries rose across the curve, with yields falling 3-4bps along with a slight advance in Europe as well, while in commodities, crude oil rose 1%, while agriculture and metals closed mixed. VIX stable around 17.
Venezuela and PDVSA had almost no movement, highlighting a 0.5pt drop in PDV'20 on reports that the Citgo sale hearing was moved to August 18.
In Latin American credits we saw a day without significant movements, with the bulk of the region's important credits with mixed variations of 0.25pts.
