Volatile day, which started with technology markedly up on the back of positive reports from Microsoft and Meta, which gradually faded against the rest of the heavy market, with value closing down and the Nasdaq flat after falls in Asia and Europe. Treasuries also started the day up following advances in European sovereign bonds, but gave back the gains and ended flat. In commodities, energy fell and metals and agriculture ended mixed with no major variations.

Venezuela and PDVSA closed down 0.10pts on low volumes and no news.

In Latin American credits, Pemex closed +0.5pts after being the region's outperformer in July; while on the negative side, sovereign Argentina fell 0.5pts in the face of an almost 4% depreciation in the peso today, which closed at ARS/USD 1370.
