Equity indices were in positive territory across major markets, led by Hong Kong’s Hang Seng and the Euro Stoxx 50, rising alongside European government bonds (yields down 4 basis points) and U.S. Treasuries, which closed marginally higher. In commodities, crude oil rose 1.5%, while metals and agricultural commodities fell against a flat dollar.

Venezuela and PDVSA were in demand by the end of the day, trading 0.25–0.35 points above yesterday’sclose, with increased activity on the short side of PDVSA and the long side of Venezuela.

In Latin American bonds, Pemex, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic rose by an average of 0.35 points, leading the region.
