Calm in the markets ahead of tomorrow's FOMC, where the 25bps cut is expected and additional information will be sought from the Fed regarding the path it will take for the rest of the year. Equities marginally down in the US after a fall of more than 1% in Europe, amid weakness in the dollar, which hit its lowest since February 2022. In this sense, commodities benefited, with crude oil and agriculture rising and gold continuing to set records.
In Venezuela and PDVSA we saw some demand for sovereigns, which rose slightly, while PDVSA remained unchanged.
In Latin American credits, Argentina rebounded 1.5pts, while Ecuador continues to see profit-taking that saw it close -1.5pts as top names in the region.
