In a week where the focus will be on Powell's speech in Jackson Hole this Friday, the start was of little movement, with rates rising marginally in the US (+2bps), after equivalent falls in Europe; while in equities, the main global indices had variations of less than 1%, leaving the US indices unchanged. The meeting between Trump and Zelenskiy has not had a major impact on commodities for the moment, with crude oil rising slightly and others remaining with marginal mixed variations. The VIX was stable at 15 and the dollar appreciated 0.2%.
Venezuela and PDVSA both traded in the same context as on Friday, with volumes remaining limited and no relevant news.
In Latin American credits, Bolivia stood out, gaining 4pts as a reaction to the fact that the two most voted candidates in the first round are from the right, breaking 20 years of socialist candidates; the rest of the region had variations of 0.25pts.
