Daily commentary for December 2, 2025.
A relatively calm day in the markets, highlighted by the recovery of crypto-related assets in a session that ended with a slight risk-on tone in equities, but with gains of less than 1% in the main global indices. Treasuries and European IG sovereigns closed without notable changes, and in commodities, energy fell 1% and both metals and agriculture closed mixed but with slight variations.
Venezuela and PDVSA ended up being sued, particularly the sovereigns after Trump said there would be ground attacks "soon," although he said these would not be limited to Venezuela alone.
In Latin America, Pemex stands out on the positive side, rising 0.5 points, while Ecuador stands out on the negative side, falling 1 point, breaking a streak of six consecutive days of gains.
