The S&P500 touched 6,500pts for the first time in history after a slightly positive close of US indices, in a session of gains in major assets globally. In fixed income, treasuries had a bull flattener, with long bonds rising (-5bps) and shorts remaining flat, flattening the curve 6-7bps to 120bps 2y-20y and 2y-30y spreads; in Europe the movement was similar. In commodities, energy rose along with metals and agriculture ended mixed.

Venezuela and PDVSA remain in demand, particularly the sovereigns today which were up 0.25pts, while PDVSA was basically left at yesterday's levels in the face of sell flow which counteracted the demand that was there, trading in context 15-15.75 middle end bonds.
